In a letter from the Director for Neighbourhoods and Communities for Doncaster Council sent to Labour MP Caroline Flint back in April, it was mentioned that a library professional was in the process of conducting a review of Doncaster library services. This report has not been made public by the council, so a Freedom of Information request was made yesterday to Doncaster Council to provide a copy of the report. We expect a response before 2nd September. We do not know what the report’s findings are and are very interested to see what a library professional made of the situation and what recommendations were made.
